Zapier
Connect Clipform to 5,000+ apps with Zapier.
Use Zapier to automatically send Clipform responses to other apps like Google Sheets, Slack, email, CRMs, and thousands more.
How it works
- Create a Zap on Zapier with Clipform as the trigger
- Connect your Clipform account (you authorize Zapier in a browser window)
- Configure your action (e.g. add a row to Google Sheets)
- When someone completes any form in the connected workspace, the Zap fires automatically
The trigger fires for every completed form in the workspace - there's no per-form setting. To act on just one form, add a Zapier Filter step on the Form ID or Form Name field.
Setup
1. Create a Zap
- Go to zapier.com and create a new Zap
- Search for Clipform as the trigger app
- Select the New Form Response trigger
2. Connect your Clipform account
- In the trigger's account step, click Sign in (or Connect a new account)
- A window opens on Clipform - review the access Zapier is requesting and click Authorize
- You are returned to Zapier with your workspace connected
3. Test and finish
- Click Test trigger to pull a sample response for field mapping
- If you only want one form, add a Filter step and narrow on Form ID or Form Name - the trigger fires for every form in the workspace
- Configure your action step and turn on the Zap
Trigger: New Form Response
The New Form Response trigger fires whenever a respondent completes a form. The payload includes:
- Form ID and response ID
- All answers (text, choices, contact fields)
- Session metadata (device, browser, location)
- UTM parameters (if present)
See Webhook Payload Format for the full data structure - Zapier receives the same format.
Tips
- Test with real data - complete your form once before setting up the Zap so Zapier can load sample data for field mapping
- Multiple Zaps per form - you can create multiple Zaps for the same form to send data to different services
