Stay Interview

Find out what keeps your best people - and what might not - before they start looking. Five questions, answered in their own words.

Something to get you started. The questions are written for you. Add your own video - you or your team asking each one - and it's ready to send.

About this template

An exit survey tells you why someone left. A stay interview asks the same questions while you can still do something about it. This template covers what people look forward to, what would tempt them to leave, recognition, one change and where they want to be in a year.

Send it ahead of a one-to-one so people can think before they answer, in text, voice or video. Then use the answers to start the conversation, not replace it.
