Clipform

Email

Create a form by emailing new@clipform.io.

Send an email to new@clipform.io describing the form you want. Clipform builds it and replies with links in moments - no sign-up required to try it, but you'll need an account to claim and publish it.

How it works

Email new@clipform.io with what you need, in plain text - the same way you'd describe it to an AI assistant or in Telegram. For example:

"Create a 5-question quiz about world capitals with multiple choice answers and a score at the end"

Clipform replies with two links:

  • Preview link - view-only, only you can open it. Try the form yourself, but it's not shareable with respondents until you publish it.
  • Claim link - sign up to claim the form and publish it, so you can share it with respondents and start collecting responses.

Each email creates a new form on its own - email doesn't support replying back and forth to edit one, and attachments aren't read. For voice notes, video, or an ongoing conversation, use Telegram or the dashboard.

Email is guest-only

Forms created by email always go to a temporary workspace, not your Clipform account. Sending to the shared new@clipform.io address will never be linkable - that's a deliberate design choice, not a missing feature: its From header is easy to spoof, so Clipform can never trust it as proof of identity.

To keep a form you created by email, sign up via the claim link in the reply - that publishes the form and moves it to your account. We're exploring a dedicated inbound address per workspace, a different mechanism that could be linked safely in future, but for now treat email as a fast way to spin up a preview as a guest.

Tips

  • One email, one form. Send a new email to start a separate form.
  • Text only. Voice notes, video, and file attachments aren't read - use Telegram or the dashboard for those.
  • Publish it if you want to keep it. Sign up via the claim link before the preview becomes hard to find again.
