Analytics

Track views, completions, traffic sources, and audience breakdowns for your forms.

The Analytics tab gives you a high-level view of how your forms are performing. See how many people view, start, and complete your forms, where your traffic comes from, and how engagement trends over time.

Key metrics

Three headline metrics are displayed at the top of the page. Click any metric to switch the chart and breakdowns below to that metric.

Views

The number of unique visitors who loaded your form. Each visitor is counted once - if the same person refreshes the page or comes back later in the same session, it still counts as one view. Bot traffic is automatically excluded.

A view does not mean the person interacted with the form. Someone who lands on the page, sees the first screen, and leaves is still counted as a view.

Started

The number of people who answered the first question. This is the point where a visitor becomes a respondent - they've moved beyond just seeing the form and have actively engaged with it.

A form is counted as "started" when the respondent submits their first answer (choosing an option, typing a response, clicking a button, or filling in contact details). Simply viewing the form does not count as starting it.

Completions

The number of respondents who reached the end screen. This means they answered every required question and made it to the final screen of the form.

The gap between Views and Started tells you how many people saw the form but didn't engage. The gap between Started and Completions tells you how many people dropped off before finishing. Together, these three metrics form a funnel: Views > Started > Completions.

Time-series chart

An area chart shows the selected metric over your chosen date range. The chart automatically adjusts its time buckets based on the range you're looking at - hourly for a single day, daily for up to a month, and weekly for longer periods.

Breakdowns

Below the chart, four panels show where your traffic comes from:

BreakdownWhat it shows
ReferrersWhich websites and sources are sending traffic to your form - e.g. direct, google.com, linkedin.com. This is based on the HTTP referrer header from the visitor's browser.
CountryGeographic distribution of respondents, based on IP address
BrowserChrome, Safari, Firefox, and others
DeviceDesktop, mobile, or tablet

Click any item in a breakdown to filter the entire analytics view to that segment. For example, clicking "mobile" in the Device panel shows only mobile views, starts, and completions.

Date range

Use the date picker in the top-right to select a custom date range. By default, analytics show the last 7 days.

Filtering

You can filter analytics by multiple dimensions at once - traffic source, country, browser, or device. Active filters appear as dismissible pills below the date picker. Click the X on any filter to remove it.

Form selection

Use the form selector in the top navigation to view analytics for a specific form, or select All forms to see workspace-wide metrics across every form.
